Rowan Class is for our Reception children and this is where they start they journey through Eardisley School. The class teacher is Miss Pritchard and she is supported by Mrs Evans, Mrs Morris and Mrs Prior.
The classroom offers a large area which allows sand, water and free play activities to take place alongside an area with a whiteboard, tables and seating for the core subjects to be explored
The children have an adjoining cloakroom
Rowan children also benefit from a large outdoor play area which can be accessed through ‘free-flow’ from the classroom. They have areas where they can dig, a playhouse and mud kitchen. They have their own wet weather suits and wellington boots so can enjoy this area whatever the weather
Each year the children take part in our school Christmas nativity production and also lead their own assembly for parents and the rest of the school
Our children in this class are supported by their Year 6 ‘buddies’ who collect them for assembly each day and become reliable friends and role models
